Achieving your dreams…

i want to teach. I love kids, they make me laugh, cry and at times want to scream. But they are so amazing, especially when they are engaged and learning!! Recently, I have also fallen in love with yoga. So, I thought, I can combine these 2 passions and teach yoga to kids!! Since I am basically searching for my next career move, I’m currently a doctor’s office receptionist with my masters in education, and there are hardly any teaching jobs in sight - I will CREATE a perfect job for me. I’m getting a certification in march for children’s yoga. Then I want to embark on this journey and live this dream….I want to bring yoga to kids, all kinds of kids. I would love to travel from school to school and teach yoga as a supplement to the curriculum. But I don’t know how to do this! Should I email principals w/ a cover letter and resume? That seems to get me no where in this competitive economy. Maybe I should go to schools and walk in the door and literally sell myself and my ideas…If you were to go on and try to achieve a dream like this — where would you begin????
